G'day & Welcome

I'm Claire!
You have no idea how much your support means to me.
Big or small..

Whether that be a simple like, comment or follow on my social media pages, recommending me to someone or giving me the honour of capturing your loved ones or events.

Although I've had my camera for a little while, you wouldn't be on my website now if it wasn't from the beautiful team of people I currently work with who have been some of my biggest cheerleaders that have built up my confidence and encouraged me to share my work online & to the world to see.

a little About Me...

Since being out of school I've worked purely educating children as a governess & SSO while slowly chipping away at my primary education degree.  I'm probably one of the biggest dag you'll meet! Maybe not the biggest, but, I'll be in the top running for that award! Haha, jokes aside -  I'm a true Territory kid, grew up in Alice Springs-  and have a deep love and connection to bush & the outback which I've inherited from my truckie father.

The last 10 years I've been living in Adelaide's Mid North District - where my mother, grandfather & many grandfathers/grandmothers prior have lived, provided and dedicated their lives to improve the small towns I live in & around. Hence where my love and appreciation for the Adelaide Mid North stems from.

Again, thank you so much for your support,

My Photography Journey

I remember the excitement I had when I received my first pink digital camera, a pink SANYO Digital S750 when I was about 8 years old! I took it everywhere with me, and I still to this day have my original SD card with the photos on it! I was super lucky to had this upgraded at the beginning of high school (2012/2013) with a Nikon COOLPIX digital camera another Christmas present - thanks Mum and Dad!. I continued to use this off and on through high school. Again, I still have one of my first pictures that at the time I thought was amazing.

After a number of years of barely touching a camera, and a lot of hesitation, I made one of the biggest purchases I had ever made at the time, and brought my current Nikon D7200 camera. It was the start of covid and I was needing something to put my energy on while trying to overcome my worst wave of depression I've experienced. 4 years later it has been one of the best things I have brought for myself.
